Stand Up For Heroes Event

Last night Perry and Lorretta went to the Reagan Building for the Bob Woodruff Foundation’s Stand Up for Heroes to benefit injured service members, veterans, and their families. Long-time ABC News’ reporter Bob Woodruff, who started the foundation, was critically wounded by an IED in Iraq in January 2006 and kept in a medically-induced coma for 36 days to help his recovery. Michael Sandel in the NY Times

In the fall of 2009, when “JUSTICE: What’s the Right Thing to Do” was first published, we had the opportunity to do four author events with Michael Sandel.   Each event was thought provoking and generated lots of lively discussion among those in attendance.
