The federal government’s partial shutdown has now entered its second week, and the Greater Washington Board of Trade is warning business leaders to expect the worst.
Stalled economic productivity will likely be felt for months, and is particularly dangerous at the start of a new fiscal year because business “can’t regain much of that lost productivity,” said James Dinegar, president and CEO of the Board of Trade.
