This week’s Roll Call After Dark event on Wednesday, July 23 features Brigid Schulte with her new book, Overwhelmed: Work, Love, and Play When No One Has the Time.
In Overwhelmed, Schulte, a staff writer for The Washington Post, asks, “Are our brains, our partners, our culture, and our bosses making it impossible for us to experience anything but ‘contaminated time’? ”
Roll Call’s Jason Dick writes about the event:
“Things get under way at 6 p.m. and will run until about 7:30 at the Hill Center at the Old Naval Hospital at 921 Pennsylvania Ave. SE. Complimentary copies of the book will be available on a first-come, first-serve basis, and Schulte will be on hand to sign them. Heck, we’ll even feed you and provide something to drink.”
So, don’t get overwhelmed! Come on out for an evening with Roll Call and Brigid Schulte. Register here: roll.cl/schultebookclub.
