This year’s Long List for the Financial Times Goldman Sachs Business Book of the Year Award is an impressive one. Several extremely timely themes run through this year’s 16 titles, including analyzing the strengths and weaknesses of U.S. corporate, economic and financial systems, discussing whether the U.S. is slipping out of its dominant role in the global economy, and even a seeming loss of faith in capitalism.
